This certification is intended for HR professionals working in a global marketplace who have a role that supports organizational growth on a global level. Eligibility for this HR certification requires one of the following combinations: at least two years of experience in a professional-level HR position and a master’s degree or higher, at least three years of experience in a professional-level HR position and a bachelor’s degree, or at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR position. WHO IS THIS CERTIFICATION MEANT FOR?

The Global Professional in Human Resources®(GPHR®) from HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) permits the business world know that you have the knowledge and skills needed to manage HR challenges in the international marketplace. It demonstrates your mastery of multinational HR management responsibilities, including international strategies for development of HR policies and initiatives that support organizational global reach.

AM I QUALIFIED?

To qualify for the GPHR you must:

Have at least two years of experience at a professional-level HR position and a Master’s degree or higher.

Possess at least three years of experience at a professional-level HR position and a Bachelor’s degree.

Possess at least four years of experience* at a professional-level HR position and a high school diploma.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Vantage Certifications has a hands-on process that helps you get the best out of your learning experience and pass the exam at your first attempt.

There are 3 different learning approaches;

The In-Class Training (this process starts with a 6-day in-class training done weekends/weekdays, followed by a virtual learning schedule for another 6 weeks to help complete the learning period), An Online learning approach (this involves access to pre-recorded videos and other learning materials) and the self-paced/self-study learning.

WHAT IS RECERTIFICATION?

The GPHR certification is valid for three years after testing. To maintain this credential, you must earn 60 recertification credits over the three-year time span or retake the exam. Of the 60-recertification credits required, 15 must be Global credits.

WHEN CAN I WRITE MY EXAM?

The GPHR examination is available all year-round, but this is subject to availability at the Prometric testing center of your choice.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT FOR THE EXAMINATION?

Computer-based Testing (CBT) at a Prometric testing center

Exam time: 3 hours

Exam length: 140 multiple-choice questions + 25 pretest questions

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE EXAMINATION?

Examination Cost: $600

There will be no refunds once an exam application is approved, whether a candidate withdraws or no longer wishes to take the exam because the access code to the HRBoK cannot be rescinded/de-activated.
